Oregon State Board of Nursing Announces Partnership with Publishing Concepts

The Oregon State Board of Nursing is pleased to announce its partnership with Publishing Concepts / ThinkAboutItNursing to produce its Sentinel newsletter as a full-color quarterly magazine, launching in April 2009.

As the primary means of communication from the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN), this official publication will be direct-mailed to more than 66,000 nurses and nursing assistants in the state. The redesigned magazine version of Sentinel will be comprised of information essential to nursing practice, including regulatory and licensing updates, summaries of disciplinary rulings, legislative action, and bulletins on Board activities.

The Oregon State Board of Nursing safeguards the public's health and well-being by providing guidance for, and regulation of, entry into the profession, nursing education and continuing safe practice.

Publishing Concepts is proud to be a partner in promoting the awareness of nursing activities and assist in the recruitment of nurses to the state of Oregon. Nursing students in Oregon will also benefit from the ThinkAboutItNursing Scholarship Fund that was created by Publishing Concepts in 2008 in celebration of its 15 year anniversary. Through its relationships with partners, advertisers, and through private donations, the ThinkAboutItNursing Scholarship Fund plans to award half a million dollars over the next five years.
