Nurses Week 2009 / May 6-12

Nurses Week 2009 is just around the corner, and we’re excited to build on the annual tradition we started together in 2008.

Last year, your participation helped us honor Arkansas nurses throughout the state through events with  Northwest Arkansas Naturals baseball, Arkansas Travelers baseball, and Arkansas Twisters arena football.  It was so much fun, we’re going to do it again!

Here is our 2009 line-up:
May 4:  Nurses Night @ NWA Naturals Game  / 6:30pm
Ticket giveaway at the gate and group seating

May 9: Nurses Night @ Arkansas Twisters Game / 7pm
Pre-game tailgate party, discounted tickets, group seating, honorary captain, national anthem singer, and fun on-field contests

***$5 tickets are sold-out but nurses can still receive a $2 discount at the door (wear scrubs or show ID)***

May 10 (Mother’s Day): Nurses Day @ Arkansas Travelers Game / 2pm
Tracks Inn Picnic Party, discounted tickets, first pitch, national anthem singer, Jumbotron recognition, concourse promotion, and Komen Arkansas Pink Jerseys provided by ThinkAboutItNursing
